Agna Meditation

Agna Meditation Simplified Kundalini Yoga
Here’s a recording of Agna (pituitary gland) meditation. This meditation has to be done only after systematic initiation through a Kundalini Yoga Teacher authorised by Vethathiri Maharishi.
Preparation for meditation:

Sit comfortably in Suhaasana on a mat on floor in a quiet, clean, roofed and airy room.

Lights may be switched off.

Avoid meditating when you are sick or near a sick person. Avoid meditating in public places or open places or in temples.

You can meditate anytime convenient for you but not when you are tired or feeling sleepy or have just eaten a meal.

Keep your eyes closed throughout the meditation.

Ignore all thoughts, sounds and other disturbances.

Start of meditation:

May the atmosphere around us be purified by the divine power (3 times).

May the almighty force descend upon our body and mind and purify the same (3 times).

May the almighty force protect us, guide us, lead us, and support us day and night at all times, at all places and in all our duties (3 times).

Salutation to mother. (Bring the image of your mother and offer salutations. Say ‘Be blessed, Be Blessed, Be Blessed’ in your mind).

Salutation to father.

Salutation to Guru.
Meditation:

Keep your mind in Agna chakra and meditate for 15 to 20 minutes.
Keep your focus on the life force vibrations.

End of meditation:
Spread the meditated energy throughout the body and soul.

Think of the entire body and soul and meditate over it for a few seconds.
Keep your mind in Agna chakra and take sankalpa.

By the grace of the divine power, we shall all live in good health, long life, enough wealth, peace, prosperity, fame, and wisdom. (3 times)

Give your Blessings.
Blessings to life partner. Bring the image of your life partner and say, in your mind,
Be Blessed,
Be Blessed,
Be Blessed.

Blessings to children, one by one.

Blessings to brothers and sisters.

Blessings to close relatives and friends.

Blessings to those who help us in our daily duties, colleagues, bosses, clients, subordinates and all others.

Blessings to even those who think they are our enemies, and miscreants, if any, that they too must change their hearts and live in peace, prosperity and harmony.

We shall not hurt anyone in body, mind or soul. We shall help those who are in pain. (3 times.)

Bless the rain. Let there be abundant rain filling to the brims of all water bodies in the world (3 times.)

May the whole world live in peace, prosperity and harmony. (3 times.)

May there be peace all over the world. May there be peace around us. May there be peace within us.

Peace, Peace, Peace. (Om Shanthi, Shanthi, Shanthihi).

Finally, rub the palms against each other. Raise your hands above the head. Breathe deeply once.

Bring the palms down and spread the meditated energy throughout your face, shoulders, hands and the rest of the body.

Be blessed by the divine,
